April 6: Publisher Basic Covers: Creating 3D objects, WordArt, shadows, custom mailings, custom charts; adding pictures and clip art. Register Here
April 13: Website Design with PHP Learn the fundamentals of PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, how PHP functions in the Web’s client-server relationship and how it relates to standard HTML. You will gain an understanding of one of the most common uses for PHP: handling the data created by an HTML form. Register Here
April 20: Website Design with Ajax This course introduces Ajax and its underlying technologies. XML is introduced as the foundation for XHTML documents. The differences between an HTML and XHTML document are discussed. Register Here
April 27: Website Design with Razor Learn about Razor, a markup syntax that lets you embed server-based code (Visual Basic and C#) into web pages. Server-based code can create dynamic web content on the fly, while a web page is written to the browser. When a web page is called, the server executes the server-based code inside the page before it returns the page to the browser. By running on the server, the code can perform complex tasks, like accessing databases. Register Here

Covers: Creating slides, using the slide sorter, ideas for slides from templates and the Internet, simple slide show. Register Here
June 1: Word Intermediate
Covers: Inserting objects such as spreadsheets and pictures; creating links to other documents, places in the current document, and to the Web; table of contents and index; making drawings in Word. Register Here
June 8: Excel Intermediate
Covers: Functions, inserting objects, linking to other locations in the spreadsheet and to other spreadsheets, manipulating charts. Register Here
June 15: PowerPoint Intermediate
Covers: Drawing on a slide during a presentation, maneuvering while in the slide show, objects that can be added to the slide show, how to present your presentation. Register Here
June 29: Publisher Intermediate
Covers: The paragraph dialog, adding special text elements. creating custom schemes, linking text boxes, using spelling tools, autocorrect, and research tools.

Time: Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Community Education Room
Limit 12 students per class.
Students may bring their own laptops, provided Office 2010 is installed. Students should bring a USB drive if they wish to save their work. Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to use a keyboard and mouse are required.
